Managing blogs with different languages in Movable Type

| | Comments (2) | TrackBacks (0)
Logo Movable Type 4At this moment I have three English blogs and one Spanish blog. I am now preparing Movable Type to transfer the Spanish blog to this account, as I want to manage all blogs from a single interface.

I installed MT in English to create the first blogs. In order to create the Spanish blog, I simply switched the MT user interface to Spanish by clicking on Hi Jeroen in the upper right corner and created a new weblog. After configuring all preferences I published the blog and set my user interface back to Spanish.

Ready for blogging in Spanish!

Hi Jeroen,

with four blogs all about something, how is there room for a fifth (http://jeroensangers.com/)? What will you be putting in that blog?
And will it also be joining your network of blogs?

Oh and on a sidenote, with a wife, a job and a life, where do you find the time to write something useful continously on 5 blogs?

Good luck anyways ;-)

Hi Sebastiaan,

No, jeroensangers.com won't be a blog. I used this domain as the predecessor of Brain Tags, but for the past years (and the foreseeable future) I used it as a static site bout my person.

Note that I still write just as much as I did before, though previously I would publish several posts on one one blog, I now write less blogs on several blogs. Furthermore, my blogging workflow is pretty streamlined, and is mostly done in during breakfast before going to my office.
